Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What do I do with the passport my child brought home?

As your child reads and reaches different "locations" in the Read-A-Thon, help them place the corresponding sticker on their passport. Encourage them to get creative by coloring and decorating their passport. This passport is a keepsake of their reading journey and will not be collected at the end.

I have questions or if I need help with PTBoard who do I contact?

Please contact NorthEndFSA@gmail.com or kristenmmakoski@gmail.com for help.

What if I have multiple children participating?

Each child can have their own fundraising page and log their reading minutes separately. This way, each child's efforts are tracked individually, and they can all be eligible for prizes.

Can donations be made in cash or by check?

Yes, donations can be made in cash or by check. Write a check payable to North End School FSA and place it, along with any cash donations, in an envelope labeled "Read-A-Thon." Bring the envelope to the school office or have your child give it to their teacher.

Can my child win both the Top Earner and Top Reader prizes in their classroom category?

No, to ensure fairness and encourage all students to do their best, each student can only win one prize category. The Top Earner and Top Reader prizes will be limited to one per student.

Can my child participate in more than one scavenger hunt?

Absolutely! Your child is welcome to participate in all four scavenger hunts if they wish. However, please note that only one completed scavenger hunt is eligible to be submitted for a raffle ticket.
